Planning a Mobility at FAU

  1. Information on Mobility Options and Financial Support

First, find out whether/which partnerships exist with FAU, find out about admission requirements, application deadlines, application procedures, study programs, etc. The FAU Student Advice and Career Service is available to answer all your questions via email or during their office hours. You can find the link to the Academic Advising website here. Also, find out about funding opportunities at your university.

  1. Course Selection

In the teaching degree programs at FAU, you will find a wide range of courses for different curricular elements of teacher education (subject-related science, subject-related didactics, educational science, free area (an area where you can choose from different courses in teacher education)). Many of these courses are also offered in a foreign language (e.g. English) or bilingually. The course catalogue can be found in the University’s information system UnivIS at this weblink.   1. Welcome Offers and Support in Finding Accommodation

The Central Office for International Affairs at FAU (S-INTERNATIONAL) will support you in your search for housing in Erlangen/Nuremberg. You can find the contact of the team “housing coordination for exchange students at FAU” here.

In addition, you can use the service of a buddy program that some faculties offer at FAU. Buddys are volunteer FAU students who will help you with questions and give you tips.
