International Week in Teacher Education: 28 November – 3 December 2022
From November 28th to December 3rd, 2022, the International Week in Teacher Education will take place at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). This year’s international week with the title “Internationalization for Peace” focuses on international educational cooperation in the context of peace.
The international week offers a wide range of information and consultation on international activities in the teaching degree programs, networking opportunities, and workshops to participate in. International students will gain insight into FAU as well as teacher education in Germany, Bavaria and at FAU. During the international week, participants will be able to learn from different perspectives what contribution international educational cooperation can make to peacebuilding and reflect on how the topic of “peace” can be addressed at schools and in the classroom.
During the international week, there will be an ongoing exhibition in the Erlangen Main Library and there will be a daily “Teacher Education International” fair from 1:00 p.m – 3:00 p.m. in the entrance hall of Campus Regensburger Straße (Regensburger Str. 160, 90478 Nuremberg). During these hours, in addition to the ongoing exhibition, representatives and alumni from various programs, networks, projects, partner universities or associations will be available to share their experiences, information and advice with interested parties.

Contributions by International Partners: International partners are welcome to participate in the international week and contribute (e.g. by introducing their institution, (online) workshops, lectures, etc.).
